Natalina Gomes Garcia went home to Jesus on March 6th, 2023, at the age of 90. She was born November 8, 1932 in Vila Nova Sintra Brava, Cabo Verde. Natalina was the daughter of the late Emilia Gomes and the late Enrique Gamboa also known as Pai Djiky. She was the devoted wife of Jose Garcia for 68 years. She was a loving, caring, and nurturing mother of the late Joaquim Gomes, Manuel Garcia, who resides in Cabo Verde, Joao Garcia, Napoleao Garcia, Domingas Garcia, Zilma Moniz, Mariana Garcia, Hildeberto Garcia, Madalena Garcia and Dalia Garcia, all from Pawtucket, RI. Natalina also leaves behind 31 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews, and also 11 siblings.
Natalina was a positive happy person who loved her family more than anything. She had a contagious smile and heart of gold. She loved cooking and sharing a cup of coffee with anyone that walked through her door. She valued spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandkids, sons-in-law, and daughters-in-law. This is not goodbye, it’s see you later.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Sunday, March 12th, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 13th, at 9:30a.m., in St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave., Pawtucket. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
